Building a catering container – what should you know?

Building a catering container requires detailed planning and taking into account the specific needs of running a catering business. Containers of this type must meet both functional and aesthetic requirements to ensure optimal working conditions and attract the attention of customers. The design of the interior space plays a key role here, which should be ergonomically planned to enable efficient organization of work and the appropriate arrangement of kitchen appliances, such as cookers, refrigerators, sinks or ventilation devices. The design of a catering container must take into account the specifics of the business, providing easy access to all necessary equipment and space for preparing and serving food.

Advantages of catering containers

The main advantages of ready-made catering containers are, above all, their mobility, which allows you to move your business anywhere. Thanks to the possibility of adapting to individual needs, our modern catering containers will fit perfectly into the specifics of your business – it doesn’t matter whether you need space for a small café or a slightly larger restaurant. What’s more, the solid sandwich panel construction guarantees durability for years, which makes Global Home Containers catering pavilions an investment for a long time.

In addition, our catering containers are extremely easy to clean, which is crucial in the catering industry. Thanks to careful finishing and hiding the electrical installation in the walls, you will avoid problems with protruding slats, and the aesthetic appearance of your container will surely delight customers. Cost-effectiveness is another advantage – free-standing catering pavilions with toilets generate lower maintenance costs, which allows you to significantly optimise your expenses.

The catering containers offered by Global Home Containers are also solutions characterized by great arrangement flexibility, which allows them to be fully adapted to the specific requirements of each business. Whether the container is to be used as a small snack kiosk, a street food outlet or a more extensive restaurant space, the interior configuration can be planned in such a way as to make the most of every centimetre of available space. The possibility of dividing the space into different zones, such as the kitchen, warehouse, checkout area or service area, makes these containers meet all the functional and sanitary requirements necessary in the catering industry.

An important advantage of catering containers is also the possibility of their full personalization in terms of external design. An aesthetic appearance and a consistent visual identity are of great importance, especially in the catering industry, where the first impression is crucial in attracting customers.

Catering containers are also valued for their quick lead and assembly time. In contrast to traditional buildings, the construction of a catering pavilion with a toilet in the form of a container takes much less time, and the finished facility can be fully functional in just a few weeks from ordering.

How we built catering containers?

Ready-made catering containers are designed for high functionality, durability and aesthetics, which makes them perfect for catering operations in various conditions. The basis of the structures we offer is a solid steel frame with Hds/Crane slings, which ensures stability and strength of the entire facility, while allowing easy transport and assembly of the container anywhere. The skeleton of the container is then enclosed with durable sandwich panels, which provide thermal and acoustic insulation, which makes the container resistant to changing weather conditions and maintains the temperature well, both in summer and winter.

Standard models of modern catering containers offered by our company are characterized by dimensions from 6 to 12 meters in length and 3 meters wide (or larger, consisting of two or more modules), which provides sufficient space for comfortable organization of work, preparation of meals and serving them to customers. The standard height of the container is 230/240 cm, while in the case of a catering container it is possible to have an internal height of 250/260 cm. The height on the outside is about +32 cm to the inner heights.

Each container is equipped with one pair of doors measuring 110 x 210 cm, which allows easy access to the interior and efficient service of customers and suppliers. In addition, the containers can be equipped with standard aluminium windows with dimensions of 120 x 200 cm, which let natural light into the interior, improving the comfort of work.

For the customer’s request, it is possible to install larger or sliding windows with dimensions of 200 x 100 cm, which ensures better exposure of the interior and the possibility of easy contact with customers. The optional equipment of modern catering containers also includes optional window blinds, which protect the facility during its non-use and protect against the sun, as well as air conditioning systems with a heating function, which ensures appropriate working conditions throughout the year.

Electrical installation is hidden in the walls, which not only increases the aesthetics of the interior, but also ensures greater safety, eliminating the risk of accidental damage to the wires. In addition, the roof of the container has been designed with a slight slope of 10 cm, which allows for efficient drainage of rainwater, preventing the accumulation of moisture and damage to the structure. Modern catering containers are also prepared for the installation of alarms, which increases the safety of the products and equipment stored in them.
